Risk Quality Surveys are a fast and accurate way to undertake site inspections, collect data and calculate sums insured for better risk management and insurance solutions.

As ANIP's property insurer, Ansvar's Risk Advisors are able to survey sites, provide quality assessments and give an immediate and collaborative verbal overview on their risk observations.  This insightful reporting enables you to make informed decisions more quickly.  Ansvar are specialists in faith, care and education, so you can be assured that when you speak with one of the Risk Advisors you know you are dealing with a true expert – someone who understands your sector.

The survey process:

Step 1 - Ansvar uses industry leading computer analytics to come up with a priority list of properties to review.  ANIP and Ansvar will then have a consultation to establish the properties to be surveyed across Australia.  As a general rule, properties will only re-surveyed after a minimum of 3-5 years depending on size and risk factors.

Step 2 - ANIP will contact the member head office or Diocese to discuss the list of properties identified for survey.  Once the program is agreed, the head office or Diocese will provide contact details for each individual property manager.

Step 3 - Ansvar will make contact with the site property manager and make a time for the survey.  This will be followed up in writing by an email introduction and confirmation.

Step 4 - The survey takes place.  Surveys can take around 2 hours, and usually just requires 1 local person present with access to all areas.  Verbal feedback is often given on the spot.

Step 5 - Following the survey, the Risk Advisors will provide a written account of observations which includes a quality rating, recommendations to mitigate risks and a clear pathway for their organisation to improve their risk quality rating.  A report can take up to 30 days to be provided.  Ansvar will follow up on any critical recommendations after a reasonable time.

Drone Enabled Surveys:  Occasionally it is determine that information may need to be collected all aspects of a building or large surrounding area, so Risk Quality Surveys may use a combination of drones, laser technology, photogrammetry and 360 degree cameras to allow quick and efficient image and data capture. These state-of-the-art technologies provide the safest, fastest and most accurate way to collect and assess data. All our Risk Advisors are highly trained and CASA qualified to operate drones.  These form part of the survey recommendations.
